Mommy & Me Yoga is all about balancing motherhood with self care. This class provides an opportunity for Mommies to reconnect with them themselves while simultaneously staying connected to their babies. We will focus on asanas that build strength and stamina for postnatal bodies, as well as empowerment for women on the adventure of motherhood. Some gentle baby massage and stretches will also be included, as well as yoga poses to practice with your baby.
Mommy and Me Yoga
Children's yoga (ages 7-10) will start Monday, July 1st 9:30-10:30 AM. This is a one month course that will develop children's body awareness, as they learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way. They practice stress management through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement. These techniques help to build concentration and increase their confidence and positive self-image. It is our intention that this group of children feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group, and make long lasting friends and fond summer memories.
